If you are thinking of purchasing maqui berry extract there are some companies who have clever and deceiving techniques to scam you out of your money. before going into these lets first talk a little about the maqui berry. It has been used for centuries by tribes for food and medicine. It grows in Chile and looks very similar to the blueberry but a darker purple colour. but the most impressive thing is the fact it has a high anti-oxidant rating than acai, which is extremely impressive considering the acai has one of the highest off all fruits.
The maqui berry extract has now become very popular now with celebrities endorsing it, and with this just like the acai berry the schemers have moved in and drowned out the honest companies selling genuine maqui berry supplements. and with all these companies trying to take your money off you they have come up with some very clever ways to get you to purchase there product and drain your cash from you.
The most popular and lucrative way for them is the free trial offer scam. the way it works, if you already do not know, is someone will usually tell you there make believe story of how they lost tons of weight really quickly all thanks to some maqui berry supplement they were taking. and then they will have banners all over the page offering a free trial of this wonder weight loss product.
This is were the real scam starts. You click the link and come to a really well designed sale’s page you enter your postal address and credit card details. A few days later your supplements will be delivered. so far it all looks legit and above board. 30 days later your credit card will be billed. This is because you have automatically been put on the auto-shipment list. and the payments will keep being made until you cancel it, but it can be very difficult to do this as the companies either disappears or it is extremely difficult to get through to there customer service team, if they have one that is.
